Lumberjack Pancake Run
The event is centered at the Outdoor Adventure Center in Detroit and uses the Dequindre Cut for its out-and-back courses. The route is described as flat. Parking is available across from Milliken State Park and Harbor.

- Both 1 mile and 3.1 miles as a combined entry
Race entries include race swag such as a custom medal, a lumberjack buff, and OAC entry. The pancake breakfast is included for race participants; additional breakfast tickets are available to non-racers for $5. A pancake-only ticket option is offered for non-racers.
Registration opens December 1, 2026. Early pricing and on-site pricing vary by event: standard single-event early registration is $35 with later price increases, and the combined 1 mile plus 5k entry has separate early and later pricing. The field is limited to 350 registrants. A family discount of $3 per person applies when three or more people are registered together.
Event programming includes a costume contest with awards for Best Beard and Best Dressed in adult and kids divisions, a kids fun run that requires no registration, and awards for the top three overall male and female finishers plus top three in ages 18 and under. Timing is provided by the Michigan Running Foundation and results are published live at race completion. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
