About the race
A weekly Sunday run series organized by lululemon Conestoga Mall - Waterloo in partnership with BackRoads Brews + Shoes. Each session features a 5 km route run at a party pace and a different route or theme each week.
Events take place at BackRoads Brews + Shoes, 5 Wellington Street South, Unit 1, Kitchener, ON. Each run includes an après run gathering at BackRoads with specialty drinks and themed food or activities. Sample themes and features listed for the series include a coffee club kickoff with a DJ, an Oktoberfest session with German beverages and pretzels, a cozy recovery focused run with blankets and a patio setup, and a family friendly Turkey Trot with Thanksgiving snacks, a gratitude station, and a food bank donation initiative. Lederhosen are encouraged for the Oktoberfest session.
The series is in person and is organized as a two hour event window. Parking options include free street parking and validated underground parking available with a purchase over 10 dollars at BackRoads after the run. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
