The Hustle at Pinehurst
The Hustle at Pinehurst takes place on October 4, 2026 at Pinehurst Lake Conservation Area in Ayr, Ontario. The event revives the Run for the Toad course and offers multiple trail distances on a looped course.

- 12.5K trail
- 25K trail
- 50K trail
- 50K team relay (2-4 runners)
The core route is a 12.5 km circuit that runs through Carolinian forest, along Pinehurst Lake, and across open meadows. Approximately 70% of the surface is natural trail with occasional roots and short climbs; elevation is listed as 232 metres per 12.5 km loop. Aid is provided at three stations across two on-course locations plus the start/finish area. The event is cup-free; participants receive a collapsible cup at kit pick up and should carry personal hydration as needed.
Race entry includes professional chip timing, bib, downloadable high-resolution race photos, and finisher items such as a New Balance finisher backpack, a distance-specific medal, a running buff, and various sponsor samples and vouchers. The start and finish are near the White Oaks Pavilion. On-site parking is available, camping is permitted at the conservation area on weekends, and a third-party paramedical service will be on site.
