The Hustle at Pinehurst
The Hustle at Pinehurst is a trail running event held at Pinehurst Lake Conservation Area in Ayr, Ontario. The event is built around a 12.5K loop that winds through Carolinian forest, skirts Pinehurst Lake, and runs through open meadows. About 70% of the loop is natural trail with roots and occasional firm footing. The loop includes several short climbs; elevation gain is 233 meters per 12.5K loop.
Distances offered:
- 12.5K loop
- 25K
- 50K
- 50K Relay teams of 2 to 4 runners
On-course support includes three aid stations placed roughly at 4.5K, 6K and 9K, plus aid at the 12.5K start/finish area. Skratch Labs hydration will be served and stations will offer water, electrolytes, and a mix of sweet and salty items. The race is cup free so participants must bring their own cup or hydration system.
Event services include on-site medical support, porta potties, coin-operated showers, limited on-site parking, food and coffee vendors, and free downloadable race-day photos. All finishers receive a New Balance finisher backpack and other race kit items such as a collapsible cup, running buff, decal, bib, and a food truck meal voucher. Awards will be given to top finishers in male, female, and non-binary categories and to the first place relay team. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
