About the race
lululemon Conestoga Mall - Waterloo and BackRoads Brews + Shoes present a multiweek Sunday run series held at BackRoads Brews + Shoes in Kitchener, Ontario. Each session includes a social 5K run at a party pace with a new route introduced each week. Sessions are scheduled for two hours and conclude with an après-run gathering at the taproom. The series features themed weeks and on-site offerings: - Kickoff with a coffee club vibe and a DJ; specialty drinks noted include a new latte and an Espresso Martini. - Oktoberfest week encourages lederhosen and includes German beverages, pretzels and themed taproom games. - A recovery focused week will have a cozy patio setup with blankets and sweaters depending on the weather, plus a specialty drink offering. - The final family friendly Turkey Trot is Thanksgiving themed with snacks for the post-run gathering, a gratitude station and a food bank donation initiative. A raffle prize will be provided by lululemon and BackRoads; attendance at each run earns one raffle entry so attending all four runs results in four entries.
