Lucky Loop - 5K takes place on May 3, 2026, at Memorial Park, 31050 Woodward Ave, Royal Oak, MI 48073. The event is organized by the Leprechauns to mark the return of baseball for the 2026 season and to raise funds and awareness to promote baseball at the Lucky Corner. Race-day options include an in-person timed 5K run/walk, a virtual run/walk, and a kids fun run.
Details and race features
Registration opens January 1, 2026. Entry fees listed in event materials are $35 for the timed 5K, $30 for the virtual run/walk, and $25 for the fun run. In-person participants are entered into a door raffle. Registration includes chip timing with live results, an event shirt, post-race refreshments, and overall awards. Packet pick up is available on race day at Memorial Park.
Awards include engraving the name of the first male and first female finishers on the Lucky Loop Trophy and a ticket package to Leprechauns baseball games. The top three overall finishers in both the men's and women's divisions receive take-home trophies and free entry into the next Lucky Loop race.
