Lucky Leprechaun 5K - Cocoa Beach
This is a 5K road race and walk held in Cocoa Beach, Florida. The course goes through the residential Cocoa Isles area and starts and finishes at Johnathan's Pub.
All participants receive a custom finisher medal. Pre-registered runners get a unisex short-sleeve event shirt. The event is chip-timed. Awards are given to overall winners, masters winners (40+), and the top three in various age groups.
A free Kids Fun Run of approximately 1/4 mile is also part of the event. Post-race, there is typically green beer (one free for those 21+), food, Irish music, and activities for children.
Packet pickup occurs on the Friday before the race at Cocoa Beach Health & Fitness, and on race day morning at the start location. The event is held rain or shine and has a no-refund policy.
Proceeds benefit Cocoa Beach Jr/Sr High School's Project Graduation, which is a safe, alcohol-free post-graduation celebration for students. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
