Lucky Leprechaun 5K Run/Walk
The Lucky Leprechaun 5K Run/Walk takes place on Saturday, March 14, 2026 in Cocoa Beach, Florida. The event is a road race through residential Cocoa Isles with the start and finish at Johnathan's Pub, 140 North Brevard Avenue, Cocoa Beach, FL 32931. The event lineup includes an in-person 5K, a student registration open to ages 18 and under, and a virtual 5K.

Logistics, timing and awards
Packet pickup is provided at Cocoa Beach Health & Fitness on the day before the race and also on race day at the event location. The race is chip timed; each participant receives a chip attached to the back of the bib, and a finish-line clock will be available to view times. The event is held rain or shine and the organizer operates a strict no-refund policy. Proceeds and donations benefit Cocoa Beach Jr/Sr High School's Project Graduation.
All participants receive a custom finisher medal, and pre-registered runners receive a unisex short sleeve event shirt. Awards include top 3 overall male and female, top masters (40+), and top 3 male and female in multiple age groups (9 & under; 10-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75-79; 80+). Post-race offerings include food, Irish music, and a complimentary green beer for participants age 21 and over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
