Lucky 8 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon - Long Beach, CA
This event takes place on August 8, 2026, on the Long Beach ocean path near 54th Place and East Ocean Boulevard. It is organized by ABWR and offers timed results and participant photos after the event.
Registration includes a custom finisher medal, a drawstring goodie bag, free photos and videos, and assorted snacks. Results with names and times are posted after the race, typically within 12 to 24 hours. Pacers and crew are permitted on course. Numerous restrooms and water fountains are available along the route.
Course formats:
- 5k out-and-back
- 10k two 5k loops
- 15k three 5k loops
- Half marathon three 4.36-mile loops
Running and walking with a stroller is allowed. The half marathon has a 3 hour 15 minute time limit; participants needing extra time may arrange an early start with the organizer. Participants are advised to plan for parking and restroom access; beach restrooms may not be fully stocked early in the morning.
