Lucky 8 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon - Long Beach
This event on August 8, 2026 takes place in Long Beach at 5400 E Ocean Blvd in the Belmont Shores area near 54th Place and Ocean Blvd. Multiple distances are offered on measured loop and out and back routes along the beach path.
Registration includes a custom finisher medal, a drawstring goodie bag, free photos and free videos, and an assortment of snacks. Official results are posted after the event, typically within 12 to 24 hours. Pacers and crew are welcome and stroller use is allowed. There are restrooms and water fountains along the course.

- 5k out and back
- 10k two 5k loops
- 15k three 5k loops
- Half marathon 13.1 miles, three 4.36 mile loops
Participants are advised to plan for parking and to arrive early. Check in is at the tables closest to 54th Place at the start of the beach path, not near Claremont Avenue. Beach restrooms may not be fully stocked early in the morning so bringing toilet paper is recommended.
