Lucky Eight 5k 10k 15k Half Marathon : Long Beach
The Lucky Eight event offers multiple road running distances on the Long Beach shoreline path at Belmont Shores, near 5400 E. Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, CA. The course is an open, marked route on the beach path and uses out-and-back loops; participants are asked to be courteous to other pedestrians, runners, and cyclists.
Distances:
- 5 km out-and-back route
- 10 km two 5 km loops
- 15 km three 5 km loops
- Half marathon three 4.36 mile loops
An aid station is located at the turnaround at the start/finish and provides water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and GU gels. The half marathon has a 3:15 time limit; requests for additional time are handled by the organizer.
Registration includes a custom finisher medal, drawstring goodie bag, access to free photos linked to bibs, free videos and cinematic race highlight reels, live results at finish, trophies and achievement badges, an Ascend Index ranking and app access, plus an assortment of snacks and samples. Group discounts are available through the registration platform for multiple participants. Transfers are permitted by contacting the organizer and the event has a no refund policy.
