The Lowestoft 10k
The Lowestoft 10k is a community athletic event organized by the Lowestoft Town Council. Held in the UK's most easterly town, the race utilizes a multi-terrain course that consists of two 5 km laps. The route is noted for being very flat and has been accurately measured by a UKA-affiliated course measurer. Participants travel through several local landmarks including the North Denes, parts of the Lowestoft Sea Wall, Ness Park, and Ness Point.
The running surfaces for this event include a combination of pavements and trail paths. The course is fully marshaled and signposted for clear navigation. There is no official cut-off time, allowing participants to either run or walk the distance.
