Lowestoft 10k : 14 June 2026, Denes Oval, Lowestoft
The Lowestoft 10k is the second edition of a community road and trail event organised by Lowestoft Town Council. The event is a multi-terrain 10 km race made up of two 5 km laps that run through areas including the North Denes, parts of Lowestoft's sea wall, Ness Park and Ness Point. Surfaces include pavements and trail paths. The course was accurately measured by a UKA-affiliated course measurer and is fully marshaled and signposted.
Entry details include a fee of £25 and a minimum age of 16. Entries opened on 16 March and transfers to another runner are permitted until midnight on 6 June 2026. Race numbers will be posted in advance and include chip timing; participants are asked to complete emergency details on the back of their bib and to bring their own safety pins. In-ear headphones are not permitted; bone conduction headphones are allowed provided marshals can be heard.
Facilities and logistics note that there is no bag drop and no changing facilities. Toilets are available at Race HQ, near the 5 km point, and at nearby public toilets. Water stations are located around 5 km and at Race HQ. First aid services will be present at Race HQ and on-course. All finishers receive a medal and a drawstring bag with freebies and merchandise is available via East Point Sports.
