Event Details
The Southwold Half Marathon takes place in Southwold, a seaside location. The route is multi-terrain, using roads and hard-wearing tracks. It is not affiliated with UK Athletics but follows their guidelines. Some sections may be uneven and narrow.
The course starts and finishes on Southwold promenade and passes through Southwold and neighboring Walberswick. The race has a cut-off time of 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Entry Information
The standard entry fee is £40 plus a booking fee. All entries include chip timing and a bespoke medal. Charity entries require a minimum fundraising commitment of £150 for EPIC Norfolk’s Dementia Campaign and providing one volunteer marshal. Entrants must be at least 17 years old.
T-shirts are available for purchase as an add-on for £15. Race numbers can be posted for an extra £1.20 or collected on race morning.
Logistics
Official race car parking is at Old Hall Cafe & Walks, with a free shuttle bus service provided to and from the start/finish. There are no additional parking fees.
