Event
The Southwold Half Marathon takes place on 01/03/2026 around Southwold and neighbouring Walberswick. The race starts and finishes on Southwold promenade. The route is multi-terrain, combining road, adopted road and hard-wearing tracks; some sections may be uneven and narrow. The event is not affiliated with UK Athletics but will follow its guidelines. There is a cut-off time of 3 hours 30 minutes. All entrants must be at least 17 years old.
Entry and logistics
This listing is for charity places. Standard race entry is listed as £40 plus a booking fee and includes chip-timing and a bespoke race medal. Charity entries require a minimum of £150 fundraising for EPIC Norfolk’s Dementia Campaign; the entry fee is refunded once the £150 target is reached. Charity entrants must also provide one volunteer to marshal; failure to meet the fundraising or volunteering requirements will result in removal from the event. Charity entries cannot be deferred to another event or transferred to another runner. T-shirts are available as an add-on for £15. Race numbers can be posted for an additional £1.20 or collected on the morning. Official race car parking is at Old Hall Cafe & Walks with a free shuttle bus to and from the start/finish and no additional parking fees at that car park.
