Love Week 5K Run : Fruitland Park, FL
The Love Week 5K Run is a family-friendly 5K event held in Fruitland Park at 205 West Berckman Street on February 7, 2026. The race is hosted by the City of Fruitland Park as part of LOVE WEEK, a community initiative that promotes generosity across local organizations, businesses, schools, and churches. Proceeds from the 5K will benefit New Beginnings Refuge, a faith-driven nonprofit focused on restoring hope and stability to homeless families.
Participants in the 5K receive shirts and medals, though these items are not guaranteed for late registrants. Awards include trophies for 1st through 3rd place finishers in each age bracket for both men’s and women’s divisions, plus additional trophies for Overall Best Male and Overall Best Female. Age brackets are 9 & Under; 10–14; 15–19; 20–29; 30–39; 40–49; 50–59; 60–69; 70–79; and 80 & Over.
A free Kids Fun Run is offered for students 12 and under and is sponsored by Citizens Bank. Prizes for the kids event include cash awards and placements in a student savings account for first place, with trophies for second and third place.
