Event overview
Love to Run St. Charles is a road and trail running event in downtown Saint Charles, Missouri on Saturday, June 13, 2026. The event offers the following race distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 mile)
- Stroller Kids event for ages 8 and under
All distances start on the Katy Trail near Bike Stop Cafe and the Katy Depot. Routes pass through Frontier Park and include a soft, shady, non-technical trail section off the Katy Trail. The courses are described as flat and fast and include river views. The finish area and post-race celebration are in Frontier Park.
Logistics and services
Registration includes a race t-shirt, finisher medal, live race results, race photos, awards for top finishers, and a post-race party with music, food, and drinks. Travlin' Tom's Coffee Truck and Kona Ice will be onsite selling items. A portion of every race entry will be donated to Camp Indigo Point.
Pre-event packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, June 12, 2026; the pickup location is to be determined and a photo ID is required for pickup. Parking is available at the public lot across from Katy Depot, along Riverside Drive, and at the Lewis and Clark Boathouse & Museum parking lot. On-course water and electrolyte drink will be provided; athletes are asked to carry their own nutrition. Awards include top 3 overall male and female and top 3 in age groups (0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+). All athletes must finish within 3.5 hours. The event has a no-refund policy and no inclement weather makeup date. The last day to register to guarantee a race shirt is May 20, 2026.
