Love Struck Miles 5k & 10k
Love Struck Miles is a running event held at North Lakes Park in Denton, Texas. The race is designed as a female-focused event that encourages community and friendship. Participants can choose from three distinct distances:
- 10k (6.2 Miles)
- 5k (3.1 Miles)
- Little Love Struck Dash (0.15 Miles)
While the event focuses on female runners, male participants are permitted to register and run if they are accompanied by a participating female runner. Male participants must register for the event but are not eligible for overall or age group awards. The competition features a variety of award categories for female participants, including Overall Female, Overall Masters (40+), and Overall Grand Masters (60+). Age group awards are also provided three deep for categories ranging from ages 0 to 14 up to 70 and over.
The race experience includes several on-site activities located at the park. Participants have access to a glitter station, a bib bedazzle station, and a temporary tattoo station. Local vendors are present at the venue, and there are designated areas for photography. All registered participants receive a race bib and a finisher medal. Custom race-themed bibs are guaranteed for the first 200 people who register.
The event takes place at North Lakes Park, located at 2001 W. Windsor Dr. Course completion is required by the time the course closes.
