Love Speaks 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run is scheduled for October 24, 2026 in Eunice, Louisiana at 331 Park Avenue, near historic downtown Eunice. The event includes in-person and virtual options and a team competition for the 5K.

Registration fees vary by date. In-person 5K or 1 Mile registrations are listed at $30 through October 7 and increase to $35 from October 8 through October 22. Virtual 1 Mile or 5K registrations are listed at $35 through October 7 and increase to $40 from October 8 through October 22. Team registration for the in-person 5K is listed at $25 through October 7 and increases to $30 from October 8 through October 22. T-shirt sizes are guaranteed for registrations completed by October 7; after that date shirts are first come, first served at race-day registration.

Packet pickup is set for Friday, October 23 at First Baptist Church of Eunice in the fellowship hall, with access via the double doors on 4th Street. Virtual participants may run between October 25 and October 31 and submit results online during that period; virtual registrations do not include a shirt. If a packet cannot be picked up because of distance, it will be mailed.

The course begins on 4th Street at First Baptist Church, runs around the block and continues primarily along Park Avenue. Park Avenue was recently re-paved, producing a flat, smooth route lined with oak trees and shade. Fruit and water are provided at the finish line and a bake sale is planned. All proceeds benefit mission work; the 5K recipient this year is the Basile Community Outreach Center. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
