Event Overview
The Love Run is a 5 km run/walk event in Rockledge, Florida. It takes place at the Rockledge Civic Hub on Barton Boulevard. Participants can register as individuals or as two-person couples teams.
Event Features and Awards
There is a costume contest where participants can dress as a favorite couple or duo from TV, movies, or books for a chance to win a special prize. The event includes a race after-party with music and refreshments. The first 200 registrants receive a finisher medal. A race shirt is guaranteed for participants who register by May 1, 2026.
Awards are given in several categories:
- Top 3 fastest couples
- Fastest couple finishing together
- Top 3 overall male and female
- Top masters (40+) male and female
- Top 3 male and female in standard age groups, starting from 8 & under up to 70+
Logistics and Registration
Packet pickup and late registration are available on the Friday before the race at Running Zone in Melbourne, and on the morning of the event at the Rockledge Civic Hub. Pricing is tiered, with lower rates available until May 14, 2026. Adult registration is $30 and youth registration (ages 0-12) is $25 during the standard pricing period.
