Love Like Deana 5K Run/Walk 2026
The Love Like Deana 5K Run/Walk takes place at Ashland Park in Clarksville, Indiana. The event serves as a memorial to honor the victims of the Old National Bank shooting that occurred on April 10, 2023. This community gathering focuses on positivity and celebration, with all profits donated to the Alzheimer's Association.
Participants can choose from the following options:
- 5k Run/Walk
- Virtual 5k
The virtual option allows participants to complete the distance at their own location between April 9 and April 12, with results submitted online for a digital certificate and ranking.
Registration for the in-person event includes a finisher medal and a custom soft-style cotton race shirt, which is guaranteed for those who register by mid-March. Participants also gain access to door prize drawings and free finisher photos. On-site services include pre- and post-race stretches and massages provided by physical therapy partners.
This race is a qualifying event for the River City Races Run the 502 series. Runners who complete six specific races in the series receive a special finisher medal featuring charms for each race finished. Awards are provided for overall winners, masters, grandmasters, and various age groups ranging from 9 and under to 80 and over. A discount is available for family groups of four who register together under a team name.
