Love in Action Walk/Run 2026
The fourth annual Love in Action Walk/Run is presented by Carmela’s Heart Foundation to raise support for children and families in Venezuela. The event is scheduled for October 25, 2026 at Vista View Park in Davie, Florida (4001 SW 142nd Ave).
The event offers multiple participation options:
- 1K Walk
- 5K Run or Walk
- 10K Run
- Virtual Run or Walk
The 5K course winds around Vista View Park and goes over two hills in the park. The 10K follows a second loop of the same course. Results are available on site and participants can receive results via text. Awards are given to the top male and female finishers and to the top three finishers in each age group; overall awards are based on gun time and age group awards are based on chip time. Winners must be present to receive awards.
Parking at the park is available on a first come first served basis and the organizer covers the park entrance fee to reduce entry delays. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the event. Virtual participants have their race kit mailed to a valid US address within about two weeks after the in person event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
