Louisville Pride 5K
The Louisville Pride 5K is the fifth annual community 5K presented by US Bank and held at Iroquois Park, with the course starting and finishing at the Iroquois Amphitheater. The event is described as family-friendly and open to a wide range of ages and abilities. The in-person 5K takes place on Sunday, June 14, 2026, inside a closed course within the park.
Two participation options are offered: an in-person 5K Run/Walk and a Virtual 5K. Registration opens on December 5, 2025 and closes on April 5, 2026, and the registration fee is $30. Packet pick-up is scheduled for Saturday, June 13 at Ken Combs Running Store in Louisville, and packets will also be available on race morning. The first 600 registrants will receive a Pride 5K cooling towel and all finishers receive a finisher's medal. Virtual participants may complete their 5K over the race weekend and will have their race swag mailed after the event; registrations made on June 6 or later may experience a two to three week delay in receiving swag due to possible reorders.
The event benefits the Louisville Pride Foundation and the Kentuckiana Pride Foundation. The Louisville Pride Foundation advances equity and representation for the LGBTQ+ community. The Kentuckiana Pride Foundation promotes social, economic, and health equity for sexual and gender minorities in the Kentuckiana region.
