Louisville Bats 5k Run/Walk 2026
The Louisville Bats 5k provides a running and walking event in Louisville, Kentucky. The course features a start and finish location outside the back gate on Witherspoon, at the corner of N. Preston and E. Witherspoon. A notable feature of the route is a final 1/4 mile lap around the baseball diamond at Louisville Slugger Field, provided weather conditions allow.
Participants can choose between two main formats:
- 5k
- Virtual 5k
The virtual option allows participants to complete the distance at their own location between June 11th and June 14th. Results for the virtual race are submitted online, with finisher certificates available for download afterward. For the in person event, parking is available at Louisville Slugger Field at 501 E. Main St.
This event is part of the River City Races Run the 502 series. Participants who complete six races within this series calendar receive a specific finisher medal with charms representing each finished race.
Registered participants receive a 2026 Bats 5K finisher medal and technical running socks. Additionally, race entry includes two ticket vouchers for 2026 Louisville Bats home games, subject to certain exclusions. There is also an opportunity for a race photo with Buddy Bat.
