Louisville Bats 5k Run/Walk 2026
The Louisville Bats 5k Run/Walk takes place in downtown Louisville at Louisville Slugger Field, with the course starting and finishing outside the ballpark back gate on Witherspoon. The final quarter mile of the in-person race includes a lap around the baseball diamond, weather permitting.

Race entry for in-person participants includes two undated ticket vouchers valid for many 2026 Louisville Bats home games, a 2026 Bats 5K finisher medal, technical running socks, and a race photo with Buddy Bat. A Family of Four registration option is offered with a $10 saving and requires creating a team.
Packet pickup will occur before race day at Ken Combs Running Store, 4137 Shelbyville Rd, and packets will not be mailed. Race day parking is available at Louisville Slugger Field, 501 E. Main St; parking at the ballpark is free while surrounding lots may charge.
Prizes include Ken Combs Running Store gift certificates for overall top finishers, top master and grandmaster, and the top three in standard age groups with specified award amounts. The event is part of the River City Races Run the 502 series. Completing designated paired races also qualifies entrants for a Bats Grand Slam Double Header medal.
