Loop-de-Lori
Loop-de-Lori is a family friendly nonprofit multisport event held at Loopy's Grill and Saloon in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. The program includes running, biking, and paddling options and functions as a fundraiser for the Lori Kleich Foundation, established in memory of Lori Kleich to provide community access to functional medicine and supportive therapies.
The event offers multiple distances:
- 17.7 miles triathlon: 3.2 mi run, 11 mi bike, 3.5 mi paddle
- 5 km Fun 5K walking-only
- 5 km Timed 5K running-only
- 1 mile Lil'l Loop for ages 3 to 10
The triathlon can be entered individually or as a team; teams of two or three members split the three legs. The triathlon course begins and ends at Loopy's Grill and Saloon. Kayak and canoe rentals are available on a first-come, first-served basis via the River Rentals tab on the organizer's site.
