Longmont Turkey Trot
The Longmont Turkey Trot is a community road race held in Longmont that offers two course options and accessibility accommodations. The event features a 10K course and a 2 mile course and includes a wheelchair division for the 10K.
The race meeting location is Altona Middle School at 4600 Clover Basin Dr. Packet pick up is available at the Longmont Recreation Center at 310 Quail Rd the day before the race and on race day. Race t-shirts are only guaranteed for pre registered entrants.
Awards are presented to first through third place finishers in several divisions. The 10K awards include overall Male, Female, Non Binary, and Wheelchair divisions and multiple age group classes. The 2 mile awards include overall Male, Female, and Non Binary divisions plus age group classes for youth and adults.
Registration is offered through the city registration system, a commercial race entry service, or in person at Longmont recreation facilities. Volunteers support the event in roles such as course marshals, aid station staff, and check in. Volunteer check in is at Altona Middle School. Without an adult, volunteers must be 16 years or older; younger volunteers are accepted when accompanied and supervised by someone at least 16 years old.
