Longmonster Dash 5K
The Longmonster Dash 5K is an inaugural, Halloween themed running event organized by the Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce. The event features a 5K chip timed race at the Dickens Farm Nature Area, located on Boston Ave. between Main Street and Martin Street in Longmont, Colorado.
The event includes race awards and a costume contest. Overall race winners receive pumpkin trophies and age-group awards are given. The costume contest offers themed trophies, with categories that include Best Overall, Best Family, Best Group, and Spookiest Costume. The finish area includes an expo with local businesses and community organizations.
