Longest Day Mile - Phoenix
The Longest Day Mile is a one mile running race held at the Phoenix High School Track in Phoenix, Oregon on June 21, 2026. The course covers four laps around the track to complete the one mile distance.
Runners are organized into multiple heats based on target pace. The heat groupings cover a range from about 5:45 minutes per mile and faster, through intermediate pace bands, to 11 minutes per mile and slower. This heat structure is intended to group participants by similar running speed.
Registration opens on January 1, 2026 and closes on June 20, 2026. Entry fees are listed as $13 for online registration and $15 for day of race registration. On-site registration is available on race day within the posted registration window.
Awards include ribbons for the top three places in each age group. In addition, a $100 prize is offered for any male who runs under 4:00 minutes and any female who runs under 4:40 minutes. The event enforces several restrictions: no roller skates, bicycles, skateboards, baby joggers, dogs, headphones, or unregistered participants are permitted on the track.
