About the race
Long Sault Trail Race & Ultra is a community trail event held at Long Sault Conservation Area in Bowmanville, Ontario on October 17, 2026. The course uses two 7K all‑trail loops and offers multiple distance options and a timed endurance format.
Distances include:

- 14K two different 7K loops
- 21K three loops using the two 7K trails
- 6 hour event run as many 7K loops as possible in six hours
- 2K Kids fun run on a single trail loop
Logistics note that start times are staggered and field sizes are capped to accommodate limited on‑site parking. Parking costs CA$7 per vehicle and a paid parking receipt must be shown at registration; prepayment is available online. One aid station is located at the start/finish and will provide lemon lime Skratch, water, and typical endurance snacks. Participants must be able to carry what they need for a 7K loop before returning to the aid station.
Rules for the 6 hour event require completion within the six hour time limit; participants may not start a final loop they cannot finish within the allotted time. Prizes are planned for first, second and masters positions per distance subject to registration numbers. Every participant will receive event swag and cotton hoodies will be available for purchase, with proceeds donated to CLOCA. No dogs are permitted at the event and a parent or guardian must run with a child in the 2K Kids Fun Run.
Registration is non refundable and non deferrable; bib transfers and distance changes are allowed up to three days before race day, with distance changes allowed on race day as needed. Sponsors include Running Room and MEC. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
