Long Sault Trail Race & Ultra
The event takes place at Long Sault Conservation Area in Bowmanville, Ontario, on October 17, 2026. The course is built from two 7 km all-trail loops.
Available race options include:
- 7K single loop
- 14K two different 7K loops
- 21K three loops including the two 7K loops
- 6 hour event: as many loops as possible in six hours
- 2K kids fun run
Event distances are capped due to limited on-site parking. Parking is CA$7 per vehicle; a paid parking receipt must be shown at registration and can be purchased ahead online. Start times are staggered to manage participant flow.
There is one aid station at the start/finish offering water, lemon-lime Skratch, and typical long-run snacks. Participants must be able to carry necessary supplies to complete a 7K loop before returning to the aid station.
6 hour participants must finish loops within the six hour limit; starting a loop that cannot be completed within the limit is not permitted. No dogs are allowed at the event. A parent or guardian must run with a child in the 2K kids fun run.
No refunds or deferrals will be issued. Bib transfers and distance changes are allowed up to three days before the event; distance changes after that must be handled on race day. Cotton hoodies will be available for purchase and proceeds will be donated to CLOCA. Prizes will be awarded by place and masters category subject to registration numbers.
