Long Sault Trail Race & Ultra
The event takes place at Long Sault Conservation Area in Bowmanville, Ontario. The course uses two all-trail loops of 7 km each.
Distance options include:
- 2K Kids Fun Run
- 7K one loop
- 14K two different 7K loops
- 21K three loops combining the two 7K trails
- 6 hour event run as many loops as possible within six hours
There is a single aid station at the start/finish offering water, lemon lime Skratch, and typical trail snacks for longer-distance participants. Runners must be able to carry what they need to complete a 7 km loop before returning to the aid station.
The 6 hour event must be completed within the six hour time frame; participants may not start a final loop they cannot finish within that time. Start times are staggered and distances are capped this year due to limited onsite parking. Parking on site carries a fee and a paid receipt must be presented at registration. Cotton hoodies are available for sale and proceeds from hoodie sales will be donated to CLOCA. No dogs are permitted. A parent or guardian must run with a child in the 2K Kids Fun Run.
