Event details
The Toronto Spartan Race takes place May 23-24, 2026 at Brimacombe, 4098 Regional Road 9, Orono, Ontario. The course is at Brimacombe, a not-for-profit adventure centre located near Toronto and Lake Ontario. The terrain includes steep climbs and switchbacks with about 92 m of vertical ascent on the course. The weekend includes a timed Hurricane Heat 4-hour event in addition to the main races.
Race distances and obstacles
- 5 km Sprint - 20 obstacles
- 10 km Super - 25 obstacles
- 1–3 km Kids Race - obstacles included
- HH4HR Hurricane Heat - 4 hours
Examples of obstacles listed for the Sprint and Super events include Atlas Carry, A-Frame Cargo, Barbed Wire Crawl, Fire Jump, Inverted Wall, Bucket Carry, Hercules Hoist, Multi-Rig, Rope Climb, Sandbag Carry, Slip Wall (rolling mud), Spear Throw, and various walls. The event notes that each location may include additional, site-specific obstacles.
Race items and other information
Participants are listed as receiving a finisher medal, a finisher tee, and a Trifecta medal wedge for Sprint participants who later complete a Super and Beast in the same year. The event offers festival entrance at the finish area. Team registration is the only way to secure the same start time for multiple racers and also offers a group savings structure.
