London Kilt Run 2027 - Robert Burns Day
The London Kilt Run is the fifth annual Scottish themed social run covering 10k. It starts and finishes at the Robert Burns Statue in Victoria Embankment Gardens and follows a clockwise route that reaches Lambeth Bridge, continues along the River Thames to Tower Bridge, and returns to the start.
The planned route highlights London sites with Scottish connections. These include Scotland Place and New Scotland Yard on Whitehall, Dover House, Banqueting House, 10 Downing Street, the Churchill statue, Westminster Abbey with the Robert Burns bust, the London Scottish Regiment and Museum on Horseferry Road, Shakespeare's Globe, the Cutty Sark reference, the Tower of London and nearby historic execution sites, London Bridge, and Scotland House in Blackfriars.
The event is organised by London Themed Run as an in-person social run. Participants are not required to wear a kilt; tartan or Scottish themed outfits are welcomed and a prize is offered for the best interpretation. The organiser states a no refunds policy. Some participants meet at a nearby pub after the finish. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
