Richmond RUN-FEST
The Richmond RUN-FEST is a multi-distance running event held over two days in south west London. The event features approximately 7,000 participants across several different race categories. The primary distances offered during the weekend include:
- Marathon
- Half Marathon
- 10 km
- Kids and Family Mile
Starting locations for the 10 km, Half Marathon, and Marathon are situated inside Kew Gardens. The Half Marathon and Marathon routes conclude at a music festival finish located in the center of Richmond upon Thames. The Kids and Family Mile races take place at Old Deer Park, with participation from over 1,000 children as part of an Olympic legacy initiative.
The courses are measured and certified by England Athletics. Results from the event serve as qualifiers for the Boston Marathon and for "Good for Age" entry into the London Marathon. Participants receive technical T-shirts with specific male and female cuts as well as triangular medals. Alongside the races, the event grounds host a music stage and a fitness expo.
