Thames Path Ultra Challenge
The Thames Path Ultra Challenge is a multi-distance trail event along the River Thames towpath, with listed dates of 12/13 September 2026 and 11/12 September 2027. The main route runs from Putney Bridge to Henley and passes through Richmond, Hampton Court, Runnymede, and Windsor to a riverside finish. The event attracts over 3,000 participants at the Putney Bridge start and includes a weekend festival with additional walks in Central London.

- 75 km option

- The Moonlight 10 Walk
Support on the route includes covered rest stops every ~12.5 km and major stops every ~25 km with marquee cover, seating, catering, and changing areas. Catering and drinks are provided free on route with meals at major stops and snacks more frequently. Medical, podiatry, and massage teams are available at rest stops and a 24 hour control room supports mobile medical teams. The route is signed with arrows and glow-sticks at night, and an app provides GPS tracking and timing scans at rest stops.
Additional services include camping packages with a circa 50 km campsite and showers, shuttle buses and transfers to local stations, parking at finish locations, and finishers receive a medal, T shirt, glass of fizz, and a finisher meal.
