London MoRun at Richmond Park
The London MoRun at Richmond Park is a charity running event supporting Movember and men's health. The programme includes a fully chip timed 1.5 km Mini MoRun plus 5 km, 10 km, and half marathon distances.
The course uses mainly tarmac paths and is hilly. It is dog friendly, suitable for running with buggies, and described as suitable for wheelchair users. The 5 km is one lap, the 10 km is two laps, and the half marathon comprises four full laps with an additional section to make up the distance.
Participants collect a race pack at registration and receive a chip-on-bib race number, safety pins, and a MoRunning headband. Finishers receive a MoRunning medal. The event also offers drinks, sweets, bonus medals and spot prizes for categories such as best dressed and fastest moustache. Mini MoRunners receive a Mini Mo medal, chip timing, headband, refreshments, and awards for winning boy and girl.
Event facilities include an event hub on the grass area beside East Sheen Gate carpark, toilets at the gate entry and exit, and manned bag storage under gazebos with limited space. Placings are based on gun time. The event notes limited parking at East Sheen Gate and encourages arrival with time to spare. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
