London MoRun at Richmond Park
The London MoRun is a series of chip timed runs held in Richmond Park at East Sheen Gate, SW14 8BJ. The event offers multiple distances for adults and children, with a dedicated event hub on the grass beside the carpark and facilities including toilets and bag storage under manned gazebos.
Distances include:
- 1.5 km Mini MoRun, chip timed
- 5 km one lap
- 10 km two laps
- Half Marathon four full laps plus an additional section
The route mainly follows tarmac paths, is hilly, dog friendly, suitable for buggy running and accessible for wheelchair users. Runners are asked to stay on the left of the course unless otherwise directed. Marshals are positioned along the route to support and guide participants.
Registration is managed at the event hub where entrants collect a race number, chip on bib, safety pins and a headband. Race numbers must be visible on outer clothing to assist timing and photographers. Placings are based on gun time. Results appear instantly and are posted to participant profiles.
Participants receive event medals and headbands, with additional awards for fastest Mo, best dressed and other spot prizes. Water and sweets are available at the finish. Parking at East Sheen Gate carpark is limited; nearby stations and bus stops provide public transport options with short walks to the venue.
