London MoRun at Richmond Park
The event features a series of MoRuns around Richmond Park with routes based at East Sheen Gate, SW14 8BJ. It supports Movember and raises awareness and funds for prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention.
Distances available include:
- 1.5k Mini MoRun with chip timing and medals
- 5k MoRun one lap
- 10k MoRun two laps
- Half Marathon MoRun four laps plus an extra section to complete the distance
The course primarily uses tarmac paths and is described as hilly. The route is dog friendly, suitable for buggy running and indicated as suitable for wheelchair users. The course runs on public land; participants are asked to keep left unless guided and marshals will be present.
Registration opens on the event morning and runners collect a race pack that includes a chip on bib, race number, safety pins and a headband. Registration queues are organised by race number. The event hub is on the grass beside the East Sheen Gate carpark. Toilets are at the park entry and bag storage is provided near registration under manned gazebos but space is limited and valuables are not recommended.
Results are recorded by gun time. Participants receive medals and there are additional prizes for categories such as best dressed, fastest Mo and other spot prizes.
