47th Annual Locust Street Beer Run
The Locust Street Beer Run is a 1.6 mile run and walk held in the Riverwest neighborhood of Milwaukee. The event serves as the opening activity for the 47th annual Locust Street Festival. Participants navigate a course through city streets that includes four specific beer stations. These beverage stops are supported by local establishments Black Husky Brewing and Lakefront Brewery.
Registration for the event includes a commemorative T-shirt and a race bib. To receive a T-shirt, participants must complete their registration by the designated deadline in late May. Practical amenities include a running clock provided at the finish line for timing purposes. Awards are designated for the top-performing male and female participants who complete the course while consuming all four beverages provided at the stations.
The event takes place within the larger festival environment on Locust Street, which features four music stages, art vendors, and food trucks. Packet pickup is organized on the Friday preceding the event at Black Husky Brewing, with an additional pickup option available at the starting location on the morning of the run.
