Loco Moco 5k
The fifth annual Loco Moco 5k is a community fundraising run and walk held at 6541 Lakeshore Road S., Verona Beach, NY 13162. The event was previously known as the Husky Hustle.
This event raises money for the Oneida Elementary PTO. The PTO's mission is to provide opportunities for students at no or low cost so funding is not a barrier for families with financial concerns. Funds may support field trips, scholarships, celebrations, and similar school activities.
The event program includes a 5k run, a free 5k, a kids fun run, and a community walk. Sign in and day-of registration are conducted at Pavilion B. Informational tables and activities are located at Shelter C and around the park. Food, vendors, and other activities are available on site.
Registration opens March 1, 2026 and closes May 8, 2026. The paid 5K carries a registration fee of $25; a separate free 5K is offered.
