English's Ridge Rumble
English's Ridge Rumble takes place April 10, 2027 at Green Lakes State Park in Fayetteville, NY and is organized by Salt City Trail Racing. The event offers multiple trail distances and runs on a roughly 10 mile loop that starts and finishes at the Reserve Picnic Shelter.

The course covers about 1,300 feet of elevation gain per loop and combines varied surfaces: some technical singletrack with rocks and roots, plus a majority of double-track on mulch beds, gravel, or grass, and a short section of paved park road. The route passes features named The Serengeti, Round Lake, the Powerline Bypass, and Quarry Hill, and includes open fields and older forest sections.
There are two aid stations: one at the Start/Finish and one on course that is passed twice per 10.4 mile loop at roughly miles 2.4 and 6.6. Aid offerings include water, Skratch, fruit, pickles, sandwiches, chips, cookies, candy, and postrace ramen with vegan options. Race day in-person registration is available at the Reserve Picnic Shelter.
Online registration opens November 25, 2026. Refunds are not granted; deferrals are permitted for pregnancy, injury, or volunteering. Distance changes are allowed until online registration closes.
