English's Ridge Rumble : Green Lakes State Park
The English's Ridge Rumble is a trail running event held at Green Lakes State Park in Fayetteville, NY. It is presented by Salt City Trail Racing in partnership with the park and is the first event of the organizer's 2026 race calendar. The event is USATF sanctioned and is held as an annual race; this edition is the ninth running.
The marked course uses an approximately 10 mile loop with about 1,300 feet of elevation gain. Trail surfaces vary and include technical sections with rocks and roots, long stretches of double-track composed of mulch, gravel, or grass, and a small portion of paved park road. The route passes features named The Serengeti, Round Lake, the Powerline Bypass, and Quarry Hill, and also travels through open fields and areas of old growth forest. The race begins and ends at the Reserve Picnic Shelter. Mid-April timing means weather conditions can range from snowy and cold to warm and sunny.
Registration pricing increases after December 1 and again one month before the race. Runners who register after April 2 are not guaranteed a t-shirt. Refunds are not granted. Deferrals may be available for pregnancy, injury, or volunteering if volunteer slots remain. Distance changes are permitted until online registration closes.
