English's Ridge Rumble : Green Lakes State Park, Fayetteville NY
The English's Ridge Rumble is a trail running event held at Green Lakes State Park in Fayetteville, NY. It offers multiple distance options:
- 50 km
- 20 Miler
- 10 Miler
The course is an approximately 10.4 mile loop with about 1,300 feet of elevation gain per loop. Trails vary from double-track mulch, gravel, and grass to short sections of paved park road, with some technical stretches of rocks and roots. The route passes park features named The Serengeti, Round Lake, the Powerline Bypass, and Quarry Hill, and includes open fields and older forest stands.
There are two aid stations: one at the Start/Finish and one on course that is passed twice per loop. Typical aid offerings include water, electrolyte drink, fruit, sandwiches, chips, cookies, and candy. Ramen will be available after the race, with vegan options noted.
The event is USATF sanctioned and is described as the ninth annual edition. Registration opens on Wed. Nov 25, 2026. Prices increase after Dec 1 and again one month before the race; runners who register after Apr 2 are not guaranteed a t shirt. Refunds are not granted. Deferrals are available for pregnancy or injury and for volunteers if slots remain. Distance changes are permitted until online registration closes.
