English's Ridge Rumble : event overview
Salt City Trail Racing, in partnership with Green Lakes State Park, organizes the English's Ridge Rumble in Fayetteville, NY. The event is the ninth annual edition and is USATF-sanctioned. It is scheduled in mid-April and is listed as the first event of the organizer's 2026 race calendar. Registration notes: prices increase after December 1 and again after January 1, registrants after April 2 are not guaranteed a t-shirt, and online registration closes on April 16.

Course and logistics
The race begins and ends at the Reserve Picnic Shelter. The primary race lap is an approximately 10 mile loop with about 1,300 feet of elevation gain. Trail surfaces vary: some technical sections with rocks and roots, a majority of double-track on mulch beds, gravel, or grass, and a small portion on paved park road. The course passes features named The Serengeti, Round Lake, the Powerline Bypass, Quarry Hill, open fields, and old growth forest.
Refunds are not granted under any circumstances. Deferrals are available for pregnancy, injury, or for electing to volunteer if volunteer slots remain. Distance changes are permitted until online registration closes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
