Event overview
English's Ridge Rumble takes place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Green Lakes State Park in Fayetteville, NY. The race is the ninth annual running of the event and is USATF-sanctioned. Distances offered include:
- 50 km
- 20 Miler
- 10 Miler
Registration closes on Thu, April 16 at 11:59 PM ET. Prices increase after December 1 and again one month before the race. Runners who register after April 2 are not guaranteed a t-shirt.
Course and location
The race begins and ends at the Reserve Picnic Shelter. The main loop is approximately 10 miles with about 1,300 feet of elevation gain. Trail surfaces include double-track made of mulch beds, gravel, or grass, a small portion of paved park road, and some technical sections with rocks and roots. The route passes named park features such as The Serengeti, Round Lake, the Powerline Bypass, Quarry Hill, open fields, and areas of old growth forest. Green Lakes State Park contains two meromictic lakes.
Policies
Refunds are not granted under any circumstances. Deferrals are permitted for pregnancy, injury, or electing to volunteer if volunteer slots remain. Distance changes are allowed until online registration closes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
