About the race
English's Ridge Rumble, hosted by Salt City Trail Racing in partnership with Green Lakes State Park in Fayetteville, NY, is the opening trail race of the season. The event offers three distances: 50km, 20 miles, and 10 miles, centered on Green Lakes' terrain. The course features a 10-mile loop with about 1,300 feet of elevation gain, weaving through Serengeti, Round Lake, Powerline Bypass, Quarry Hill, fields, and old-growth forest, with mostly double-track and brief technical sections.
The race is USATF-sanctioned, uses wave starts, and finishes at the Reserve Picnic Shelter Pavilion by the Frisbee Lot. It’s known for mid-April variability and a strong atmosphere. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
