Lochore Off Road Triathlon Festival 2026
Scurry Events hosts the 7th Lochore Off Road Triathlon, Aquabike, Duathlon and Bikeless Lochore Aquathlon at Lochore Meadows Country Park. The event is Triathlon Scotland sanctioned and the full distance will count towards the Off Road Triathlon Scotland rankings. Date for 2026 TBC.
The full triathlon features an open-water swim in Loch Ore. The full swim is 1000 m, swum as two 500 m laps with an Aussie style beach exit after lap one. Aquabike uses the same swim format.
The off road bike is a mixed-terrain, multi-lap course that includes White Woods, Chapel Chase, Quarry Wood and Lindsay’s Loop. For the full and Aquabike this is run over three laps (total approximately 14.4 km). Short distance and Tristar events use fewer laps. The course includes some small technical sections with rocks, roots and mud.
The full run and the aquathlon run use a mixed-terrain 5 km route that circumnavigates the hilly Clune and passes an old ironage fort before returning along the loch side. Short and Tristar run distances are 3 km and 2.4 km respectively.
The park provides facilities and attractions for non-competing family supporters. Multiple event formats are offered to accommodate different participant preferences. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
