Lochore Off Road Triathlon Festival 2026
The Lochore Off Road Triathlon Festival is an off-road multi-discipline event at Lochore Meadows Country Park. It is a Triathlon Scotland sanctioned event and the full distance will count towards the Off Road Triathlon Scotland event rankings. The date for 2026 is to be confirmed.
Race format and course
Races include triathlon, aquabike, duathlon and a bikeless aquathlon. The full triathlon swim is held in Loch Ore and uses two 500 m laps for a total of 1000 m with an Aussie-style beach exit after the first lap. The off-road bike for the full and aquabike uses a three-lap course totaling 14.4 km, with two laps for the short distance and one lap for Tristars. The cycle route includes White Woods, Chapel Chase, Quarry Wood and Lindsay’s Loop and contains mixed terrain with some small technical sections featuring rocks, roots and mud. The full run and aquathlon finish use a mixed-terrain 5 km loop that passes Clune and an old ironage fort and returns beside the loch. Short and junior runs use shorter circuits.
