23rd Annual Liz Hurley Ribbon Run : event overview
The event features a 5K running race held in Huntsville, Alabama, with the course beginning near the corner of Lowe Avenue and Gallatin Street in front of the Huntsville Hospital Foundation. A separate Survivors' Walk is offered as a free event for breast cancer survivors; that walk begins near Franklin Street and Lowe Avenue and finishes on Lowe Avenue. Wheelchairs and scooters are permitted for the Survivors' Walk.
Team participation is possible without an additional team fee. Teams of ten or more registered participants qualify for team packet pickup on designated dates. Individual packet pickup is also available on specified dates at the Huntsville Hospital Foundation and at Fleet Feet Sports in Jones Valley.
Registration carries a fee of $25. The event has a no-refund and no-transfer policy; registrations may not be transferred to another person. Participants under 12 must be accompanied by an adult and both must be registered. If a participant is under 18 a parent or legal guardian must sign the registration form.
For safety, the organizers discourage use of strollers or baby joggers and will position those participants toward the back of the lineup.
