Littleton Road Race at Fay Park, Littleton, MA
The event features a 5-kilometer race and a 1-mile fun run, both beginning and ending at Fay Park, 20 Foster Street, Littleton, Massachusetts. Walkers are welcome in the 5-kilometer race and the fun run is open to all ages.
This event is a fundraiser for the Littleton Road Race and Track Organization. Proceeds support maintenance and enhancements of the local track and field facility and programs to promote track and field in Littleton. Past projects funded by the race include entry landscaping, the addition of a pole vault box and pit, a school track records board, and summer track and field programs.
Event services and amenities include chip timing for both races, courses closed to traffic, mile markers and timed splits, a water station at the 2 mile mark, medical personnel, post-race refreshments, bag check, bicycle check, porta potties, live music, an ice cream truck, and a local brewery presence.
Awards for the 5K include medals for first, second and third place in the following age groups: 0–14, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, 70–79, and 80+. One mile fun run participants receive a finisher’s medal and popsicles.
Logistics note: bib and t-shirt pickup is scheduled on Saturday at Fay Park and shirts are available to those who register before the August 28 t-shirt deadline. Parking is available in marked lots on Route 110/2A; directions reference I-495 exit 79. Dogs are not allowed in either race and runners with strollers are asked to stay to the side or rear.
