Little Red Heart 5K
The Little Red Heart 5K and Walk takes place on September 19, 2026 in Oklahoma City at 3701 S Lake Hefner Dr. The event honors organ and tissue donors, pays tribute to transplant recipients, offers hope to those waiting, and remembers lives lost while waiting for donation.
Funds raised support the activities and initiatives of LifeShare to help save more lives through organ and tissue donation. The in-person events include an organized 5K run and an honorary 1 Mile walk called LifeShare's Memorial Mile for donor families to walk in remembrance of loved ones. There is also a virtual 5K option and a social ticket for attendees who want to enjoy the event festivities.
Each ticket includes a t-shirt, bib, medal, food, and access to in-person festivities. Registration fees listed for the events are $40 for the in-person 5K and 1 Mile walk, $25 for the virtual 5K, and $25 for a social ticket. Registration opens March 18, 2026 and closes on the dates specified for each event.
