Little Duck 50k & 10k
Little Duck 50k & 10k is a trail race scheduled for October 18, 2026 at the East Windham Conservation Area in Windham, ME. The event uses looped running on the Purple, Red, and Blue trails through East Windham and nearby Lowell Preserve. Organizers expect a small inaugural field, roughly 10 to 50 entrants.

- 50k five 6.5 mile loops, roughly 900 ft elevation gain per loop
- 10k one 6.5 mile loop, roughly 900 ft elevation gain
The 50k is organized as five repeated laps of the same 6.5 mile circuit. Each lap routes runners from the Purple trail, staying right onto the Red trail, then the Blue trail, with two aid stations per loop including one at the Lowell Preserve parking area and one at the East Windham Conservation Area parking area. Aid stations provide snacks, water, and electrolyte drinks. Volunteers track runner progress and the race follows a no runner left behind policy; organizers remain until the final finisher crosses the line.
Participants receive a cotton T shirt on completion. Registration opens July 16, 2026 and closes October 16, 2026. Published entry fees are $85 for the 50k and $65 for the 10k. Organizers record results by completed laps so partial finishers receive results for the distance they completed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
