Little Duck 50k - Windham, ME
Little Duck 50k is a trail race scheduled for October 18, 2026 at the East Windham Conservation Area in Windham, ME. The event offers two distance options and uses the Purple, Red, and Blue trails within the conservation area.

The 50k is organized as five loops of 6.5 miles each, totaling 32.5 miles. Each loop includes roughly 900 feet of elevation gain. The 10k is one loop of the same circuit.
The course layout begins on the Purple trail, continues on the Red and Blue trails, and returns to the start area. There are two aid stations per loop, including a station at the Lowell Preserve parking lot and a station at the East Windham Conservation Area parking lot. Aid stations provide snacks, water, and electrolyte drinks.
Volunteers keep track of runner progress and the event follows a no runner left behind policy; organizers remain until the final finisher crosses the line. Participants receive a race t shirt upon completion, most likely a cotton Hanes. The initial event size is expected to be between 10 and 50 entrants for the first year.
