Event Details
The LIRRC Ducks Easter Bunny 5K Run/Walk takes place on April 5, 2026. The event includes a 5K run/walk and a free kids fun run. The 5K starts at 9:00 AM, rain or shine. The free kids fun run starts at 8:30 AM.

The event is held at Eisenhower Park Field 2, Parking Lot 2, in East Meadow, New York.
Registration and Pricing
Registration is available online. Early bird pricing for the 5K is $23.45, including a processing fee. Race day pricing is $28.63. Members of the Long Island Road Running Club (LIRRC) receive discounted rates: $18.28 for early bird and $23.45 on race day. Day-of registration is available but may be limited. Active military personnel can participate for free with a valid military ID. The first 150 registrants receive a giveaway.
Course and Awards
The course is described as flat and fast within Eisenhower Park. Awards are given to the first overall male and female finishers, who each receive a trophy and a chocolate bunny. Age group awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers in categories ranging from 14 & under to 80+.
Additional Information
Bib pickup begins one hour before the event start time. Participants who register at least three weeks in advance can receive a personalized race number. Water and refreshments are available at the finish line. This race is part of the USATF-LI Grand Prix, Long Island's running series. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
