Lindsay Milk Run

The Lindsay Milk Run is an annual tradition held at the Lindsay Recreation Complex in Lindsay, Ontario. Named for its long-standing partnership with local dairy producers, the event features road races that accommodate both runners and walkers.

The event offers the following race categories:

  • 10 km (chip-timed)
  • 5 km (chip-timed)
  • 500 m Kids Fun Run

Registration for the 5 km and 10 km distances includes a finisher medal, a branded race bib, a race memento, and post-race refreshments. Participants in the 500 m Kids Fun Run receive a finisher medal, a branded bib, a goodie bag, and refreshments.

A team division is available for the 5 km and 10 km categories. Teams must consist of 4 to 12 participants, and all members must compete in the same distance. Prizes are awarded to the fastest overall teams based on the average time of all members. Individual awards are also presented to the top three male and female finishers overall, as well as the top three finishers in various age divisions.

Strollers are permitted on the course, provided they start at the back of the pack. Service animals are the only animals allowed on the route. The course remains closed to traffic for 90 minutes, after which any remaining participants must move to the sidewalk. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
