Fenelon Falls Turkey Trot Trial Race & Family Fun Run
The Fenelon Falls Turkey Trot is a trail race and community walk event centered on health and fitness. The event takes place at Garnet Graham Beach Park on Cameron Lake in Fenelon Falls, Ontario. The course features an out and back route along the Kawartha Rail Trail.
The following distances are available for participants:
- 1 km (kids 12 and under, youth, adults, and seniors)
- 5 km (youth, adults, and seniors)
- 10 km (youth, adults, and seniors)
Advance online registration is required to participate, as there is no race day registration. The event is limited to a maximum of 550 participants. Age group categories range from 13-15 to 80+, and a non-binary category is also included.
All finishers receive a unique commemorative wood medal. Participants also receive a custom souvenir bib, a high-quality cotton t-shirt, and access to light post-race snacks. Commemorative wood plaques are awarded to the top three open and masters finishers in the 5 km and 10 km events. This event supports Women's Resources, an organization serving Kawartha Lakes.
