About the race
Fenelon Falls Turkey Trot is a trail race and family-friendly run/walk held on the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend in Fenelon Falls, Ontario. The course is an out-and-back along the Kawartha Rail Trail from Garnet Graham Beach Park by Cameron Lake, with a surface that is mostly gravel. Distances include a 1k kids run/walk and 5k/10k options for youth, adults, and seniors.
The event emphasizes inclusivity and community, featuring on-site music, pre-race warm-ups, and finish-line recognitions; participants receive a commemorative bib, custom T-shirt, wooden finisher medals, post-race refreshments, and awards. Proceeds benefit Women’s Resources Kawartha Lakes. Pet policy: no pets on the trail; dogs allowed in the park on leash.
