Kawartha Sun Run 2026
Kawartha Sun Run takes place on Sunday June 14, 2026 in Fenelon Falls and offers a half marathon, 10K and 5K. The route starts at Garnet Graham Beach Park and follows the Victoria Trail alongside waterfront, parks and natural areas. Organizers describe the course as fast, flat and scenic.
Finishers receive a medal and a custom event shirt. Aid stations are located approximately every 2.5 to 3.0 km and provide water and an electrolyte drink; no gels or other nutrition are supplied and participants should carry their own nutrition. Portable toilets will be available at each aid station and at the half marathon turnaround. The cut off for the half marathon is 3 hours 30 minutes after its start.
Every participant must have a bib number and timing chip. Mail out race kits are available and three kit pick up dates are scheduled in the days before the event: Lindsay on June 8, Toronto on June 11, and Fenelon Falls on June 13. Race day kit pick up is available only for those who purchase the VIP kit pick up ticket.
Strollers and dogs are not allowed on the course due to the course layout and insurance requirements. Organizers note heavy traffic in town and list parking options including the Fenelon Falls Community Centre, about a 20 minute walk to Garnet Graham Beach Park.
