About the race
XACT Kawartha Sun Run 2027 is a road and trail running event held in Fenelon Falls, Ontario on June 13, 2027. The event uses Garnet Graham Beach Park and the Victoria Trail, with sections beside waterfront, parks and natural areas. The organiser describes the course as fast, flat and scenic.

Finishers receive a medal and a custom event shirt. Bib numbers and a timing chip are required for all participants. Race kit options include local pick-up, mailed kits, and a race day VIP pick-up option. There are three kit pick-up locations offered in the lead up to the event.
Aid stations supply water and an electrolyte drink approximately every 2.5 to 3.0 km; XACT energy bars are available at the half marathon turn aid station. Portable toilets are provided at aid stations and at the half marathon turnaround. Runners are asked to carry personal nutrition and to deposit waste at aid stations.
Strollers and dogs are not permitted on the course. A cut-off for the half marathon is 3 hours 30 minutes after its start. Parking is available off site with a recommended lot at the Fenelon Falls Community Centre about a 20 minute walk to the park. Registration opened July 15, 2026. Transfers between participants or distances are allowed until June 10, 2027 with a CA$5 administration fee. The cancellation policy states no refunds; a virtual option may be offered if public health orders force cancellation. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
