Kawartha Sun Run 2026
The Kawartha Sun Run is scheduled for June 14, 2026 in Fenelon Falls, Ontario. Fenelon Falls is known as the "Jewel of the Kawarthas".
The event offers three distances:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
The course starts at Garnet Graham Beach Park and follows the Victoria Trail. It is described as fast, flat, and scenic, running alongside waterfront, parks, and natural areas.
Finishers will receive a medal and a custom event shirt. Strollers and dogs are not permitted on the course due to narrow roads and insurance requirements. The half marathon has a cut-off time of 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Aid stations provide water and electrolyte drink approximately every 2.5 to 3.0 kilometers. Portable toilets are available at each aid station and at the half marathon turn-around.
Parking is available at the Fenelon Falls Community Centre, with a 20-minute walk to the start, or in downtown lots. Participants are advised to arrive early due to expected traffic.
Race kit pick-up options include locations in Lindsay, Toronto, and Fenelon Falls on specified dates before the event. Mail-out race kits are also available.
The event supports fundraising for Kawartha Lakes Food Source. Registration follows a tiered pricing structure, and transfers between distances are allowed with a fee until June 1, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
