XACT Kawartha Sun Run 2026
The event takes place on June 14, 2026, in Fenelon Falls and offers three distances:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
The course starts at Garnet Graham Beach Park and follows the Victoria Trail alongside waterfront, parks and natural areas. Finishers receive a finishers medal and a custom event shirt.
Aid stations provide water and XACT electrolyte drink approximately every 2.5 to 3.0 km. No gels or other nutrition are supplied; runners should carry their own nutrition and dispose of any garbage at aid stations. Portable toilets are available at each aid station and at the half marathon turn around. The cut off time is 3 hours 30 minutes after the half marathon start.
Every participant must wear a bib number and timing chip. Kit pick up options are offered in Lindsay (Crossfit Lindsay) on Monday June 8, in Toronto (Culture Athletics) on Thursday June 11, and in Fenelon Falls on Saturday June 13; mail out kits are also available. VIP race day kit pick up is available only to VIP ticket holders. Transfers between runners or distances are allowed for a fee of CA$5.00 where permitted by registration rules.
Strollers and dogs are not allowed on the course. Organizers advise against driving directly to the race site; generous parking is available at the Fenelon Falls Community Centre, about a 20 minute walk to Garnet Graham Beach Park, and a few downtown lots are also available. Do not attempt to access Garnet Graham Park via Water Street as it is a dead end. In the event of cancellation due to a government or public health order the event may be offered as a virtual event; there are no refunds or deferrals for other cancellations.
