Lighthouse Half Marathon - Long Beach
The Lighthouse Half Marathon is a road running event on the Long Beach waterfront held on May 24, 2026. The course runs along the beach bike path near Shoreline Aquatic Park at 200 Aquarium Way and offers ocean views and sights of the Queen Mary. The start and finish are at the same beachside location near the lighthouse grass area.

The course is flat and USATF certified. It is described as walker friendly and supported by volunteers. Multiple hydration stations are placed along the route at roughly 1.5 mile intervals and will offer water and electrolytes including Gatorade. The event uses cupless water stations with hands free foot pedal dispensers; reusable cups will be available for purchase for $3 at packet pickup or on race day.
Packet pickup is available Saturday, May 23, 2026 at the Nike Factory Store, 71 Aquarium Way (Pike Outlets), with a 20% discount on purchases of $100 or more during pickup. Optional pickup is also available on race morning.
Finishers receive a custom finisher medal and a commemorative race shirt and hat. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and top three in each age group for all distances. A post race expo includes a complimentary plate of street tacos for runners and additional food is available for purchase. Live race results are posted online in real time.
