Light Up The Valley 5K and 1 Mile in Bellville, OH
This community run/walk in downtown Bellville includes two distances. The registration and the start/finish area are on Hines Avenue near downtown Bellville. Portable restrooms will be available near the registration and start/finish area.

The course passes through downtown Bellville and uses the B&O Bike Trail. The route crosses the Clear Fork River via the railroad bridge, runs past the Bellville Band Stand, and returns to finish on Hines Avenue. The course will be marked with chalk and signage, and volunteers and local safety personnel will be stationed along the route.
The event features professionally timed 5K results. Awards will be presented to top overall male and female 5K finishers and to top finishers in multiple age group categories. The 1 Mile includes awards for top youth finishers. Door prizes from local businesses will be offered.
Proceeds benefit the Sunshine Girls Running Club. Event shirts are guaranteed for participants registered by June 10, 2026; available adult sizes range from XS to 3XL and youth sizes from S to XL. Parking is available on nearby public streets, designated public parking areas, and at the elementary school and youth ballfields on Hines Avenue and East Street.
