Light Up The Valley 5K Run/Walk & 1 Mile - 2026
Light Up The Valley 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile is scheduled for Saturday, June 27, 2026, in Bellville, Ohio. Registration and the start/finish area are located at 120 Hines Avenue. The event is a MORM timed event and features chip timing for both distances.

The course runs through downtown Bellville and onto the B&O Bike Trail, crosses the Clear Fork River on the railroad bridge, continues southeast out of the village with a turnaround near Greenwood Road, and returns to Hines Avenue with a downhill approach to the finish. The route will be marked with chalk, signage, and volunteer support. Roads and intersections will be monitored by volunteers and local safety personnel.
Parking is available on nearby public streets and designated public parking areas, with recommended parking at the elementary school and youth ballfields on Hines Avenue and East Street. Portable restrooms will be available near registration and the start/finish area.
Proceeds benefit the Sunshine Girls Running Club. Event shirts are guaranteed to participants registered by June 10, 2026. Race day packet pickup and registration will be available near the start/finish area on June 27 from 7:15 am to 8:15 am. An awards ceremony for 5K finishers will follow the race, with awards by overall gender and multiple age group categories. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
