Lifesaver 5K / 10K and 1 Mile Walk
The event takes place on December 12, 2026 at Charles Mill Lake Park, 1277 State Route 430, Mansfield, Ohio. The park is described as east of Mansfield and the course loops around the peninsula near the lake marina.
Distances offered:
- 5K Run / Walk - one loop
- 10K Run (no walkers) - two loops
- 1 Mile Walk
The event is a Richland County Lions Clubs fundraiser. Proceeds are used to purchase and maintain locator devices through Project Lifesaver for people with Alzheimer’s, dementia, autism, and Down syndrome, in coordination with the Richland County Sheriff Department and the Area Agency on Aging.
Registration fees differ for pre-registration and race day. A T-shirt is guaranteed if registration is received before December 1. The organizer states there are no refunds. Results will be posted online after the event.
Awards are given to the top overall male and female and to first place male and female in each age group: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
