LCC Donut Dash 5K

The LCC Donut Dash 5K takes place on Saturday, May 16, 2026, in Lucas, Ohio. The event is a 5K run or walk starting at 252 W. Main St. or the Lucas Community Center at 525 W. Main Street.

The unique format involves running 1.5 miles through Lucas, followed by a donut-eating station. Participants may eat as many donuts as they choose before running the final 1.5 miles back to the start. Each donut eaten reduces the participant's official finish time by 2 minutes.

Prizes are awarded for the top overall male and female finishers, as well as for male and female finishers in multiple age groups: 0-10, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. There is also a separate prize for "Most Donuts Eaten."

Early registration costs $22 if completed by May 14, 2026. The deadline for a guaranteed event t-shirt is May 8. Race-day registration is available starting at 8:00 AM for $25, with no t-shirt guarantee. Race results are posted online at Ohio Race Day, and a course map is available.
