Beethoven's Fifth 5K
Beethoven's Fifth 5K is a community 5 kilometer run and walk that benefits the Ashland Symphony Orchestra. The event offers an in-person 5K that starts and finishes at Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1360 Smith Road, Ashland, OH 44805, and a virtual 5K option for participants who prefer to run or walk elsewhere.
Registration opens on December 1, 2026. Early pricing is available with a listed early fee of $25 in January, a higher fee in February, and a later fee in March. Donations reduce registration fees; example reductions are saving $2.50 for a $25 donation, $5 for a $50 donation, and $10 for a $100 donation. Participants who register by March 19 receive a T shirt and a participation medal.
The in person course is 5 kilometers in length, measured as 3.1 miles, with both start and finish at the church address. Age group categories for competition and results include 14 and under, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60 and over.
