Beethoven's Fifth 5K
Beethoven's Fifth 5K takes place on April 11, 2026 in Ashland, Ohio, with the start and finish at Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1360 Smith Road. The event includes an on site 5K Run Walk and a Virtual 5K Run Walk and is presented to benefit the Ashland Symphony Orchestra. The event uses the theme "Can you beat Beethoven's 5th Symphony?"
Registration is tiered by date. Early registration is $25 from January 1 to January 31, $30 from February 1 to February 28, and $35 beginning March 1. Registrations completed by March 20 include a T shirt and a participation medal. Online registration closes April 8. Donors can reduce registration fees by making a gift: a $25 donation reduces fees by $2.50, $50 reduces fees by $5, and $100 reduces fees by $10.
The course is a certified 5K (3.1 miles) that starts and finishes at 1360 Smith Road. Age groups are 14 and under, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60 and over.
