Lifecare Behavioral Health Matters 5K
Lifecare Community Health Center presents the inaugural Behavioral Health Matters 5K on June 19, 2027 at The Goodwill Ken Weber Community Campus in Canton, Ohio. The event is a community fundraiser focused on supporting behavioral health services and increasing awareness of mental health. It includes a 5K run and walk plus a Kids Fun Run.
Proceeds from the event will fund efforts to expand access to behavioral health care, connect individuals and families with needed services, and reduce barriers to treatment. The event format includes race day registration and packet pickup, a kids fun run, the 5K run and walk, and an awards ceremony. Race registrations are non refundable and non transferable.
Entry fees vary by registration period and range from $10 to $40 depending on event and date. T shirt sizes are offered from Youth X Small to Adult 3X Large; a No Shirt option is available with a $5 discount through race day. To be guaranteed a shirt size, register by 5/31; selection is limited after that.
All participants receive a pride finisher medal. Awards for the 5K include top three overall male and female and top three male and female in age groups 14 and under, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 plus.
