Life Time Tropical 5K : Miami, January 30, 2027
The Life Time Tropical 5K is a water lined, point to point road race held on January 30, 2027. The start is located on the MacArthur Causeway on the east side of Watson Island and the finish is at 1 Washington Avenue, where a post race festival takes place.
Packet pickup is available prior to race day at the Life Time Miami Marathon and Half Expo on Friday, January 29, 2027. The event uses shuttles to transport registered participants from designated pick up and drop off locations to the start; there are no shuttles from the start to the finish area. Several parking options are available near the course on a first come, first served basis. There is no parking at the Miami Children’s Museum. Jungle Island offers a flat parking rate that may fill quickly.
All participants must maintain a 20 minute per mile pace and be able to complete the course within 60 minutes of crossing the start line. A finisher medal is awarded to all registered participants who cross the finish line while wearing their assigned official race bib. Awards are given for overall and age group divisions; overall awards include male, female, masters, hand crank, push rim, and nonbinary categories, and age group medals are awarded three deep across ranges from 14 and under through 75 and older.
