Life Time Tropical 5K : January 30, 2027
Life Time Tropical 5K is a point-to-point race held in Miami on January 30, 2027. The course starts on the MacArthur Causeway on the east side of Watson Island and finishes near 1 Washington Avenue. All participants must maintain a 20 minute per mile pace and complete the course within 60 minutes of crossing the start line.
Packet pickup is recommended at the Life Time Miami Marathon & Half Expo the day before the race. The event issues a Finisher’s medal to all registered participants who cross the finish line while wearing their official race bib. Awards are given for overall and age group divisions; overall awards include male, female, masters, hand crank, push rim, and nonbinary categories. Age group medals are awarded three deep across standard age brackets beginning with 14 and under and continuing in five year increments up to 75 and older.
Parking and transportation details note multiple parking options near the course on a first-come, first-served basis, designated shuttle service for registered participants between parking locations and the start, and a Jungle Island parking option with a flat fee. There will be no shuttle service from the start to the finish area. An on-course alert system displays race status at each mile marker based on course and weather conditions.
