Liberty's Lost Treasure : Guthrie, OK
Liberty's Lost Treasure is a trail running event held at the Lake Liberty Trail near Guthrie, Oklahoma. The course uses a mostly single-track, 7.8 mile loop around the lake; the 5K is an out-and-back route. The loop includes quick road crossings of Forrest Hills Road and Seward Road but does not require road running.
Finishers receive distance-specific custom belt buckles or medals, and the first overall male and female in each race receive overall awards. Entries include a t-shirt; hoodies are available for purchase. Race amenities listed by the organizer include fully stocked aid stations, complimentary race photos, post-race meals for participants, and a start/finish area near campsites and a beach.
Distances offered
- 5K : Out and back course
- 12.5K : One full 7.8 mile loop
- 25K : Two full 7.8 mile loops
- 50K : Four full 7.8 mile loops (10 hour cutoff)
- Ruck divisions available at multiple distances
There will be one aid station approximately four miles into the course with no crew access at that station. Crew access is permitted only at the start/finish area. Trekking poles are allowed in all races. The ruck division has minimum weight requirements based on participant weight and allows weighted vests; podium awards are not given for ruck entries but finishers receive a medal and a custom Velcro patch.
