Liberty's Lost Treasure - November 7, 2026
Liberty's Lost Treasure is an off-road trail event held at Lake Liberty Trails in Guthrie, OK, organized by Trail Ultras. The course follows a 7.8-mile single-track loop around the lake noted for its flowy and fast terrain. The 5K uses an out-and-back course rather than the loop, and the 50K uses multiple loops with a 10-hour cutoff. The start and finish are located at the trailhead near campsites and the beach area.
Distances offered include:
- 50K – four 7.8-mile loops
- 25K – two 7.8-mile loops
- 12.5K – one 7.8-mile loop
- 5K – out-and-back course
- Ruck divisions available for select distances
There is one aid station approximately 4 miles into the loop; crew access is not available at that aid station but is allowed at the start/finish area. Entry items and services noted for finishers and participants include custom belt buckles or medals for distance finishers, event T-shirts, complimentary race photos, fully stocked aid stations, and post-race meals. Hoodies are available for separate purchase.
A rucking division follows specific weight rules: a 10 lb minimum for participants under 150 lb and a 20 lb minimum for those over 150 lb; trekking poles and weighted vests are allowed; required weight cannot include consumable or wearable items. Event rules include no littering, no stashing supplies on course, notifying race staff if withdrawing, and keeping animals leashed. Participants are responsible for their own physical and mental preparedness; local EMS will be used for emergencies. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
