Liberty's Lost Treasure - Guthrie, OK
Liberty's Lost Treasure is a trail race held at the Lake Liberty Trail near Guthrie, Oklahoma, scheduled for November 7, 2026. The main loop around the lake is 7.8 miles; the 5K uses an out-and-back course. The 50K uses four 7.8-mile loops and has a 10-hour cutoff.
Event amenities include custom-designed belt buckles or medals for finishers, complimentary race photos, fully stocked aid stations, post-race meals, and an entry T-shirt. Hoodies are available for purchase. One aid station is located roughly 4 miles into the course; that aid station does not allow crew access. Crew access is available only at the start/finish area. No pacers are allowed.
A ruck division is included, with a 13-mile loop format and these weight guidelines: if a participant weighs less than 150 lb the minimum ruck weight is 10 lb; if over 150 lb the minimum is 20 lb. Trekking poles and weighted vests that meet the minimum are allowed. Weight cannot include consumable or wearable items. Ruck finishers receive a finisher medal and a custom Velcro patch; there are no podium awards for ruck divisions.
Medical services will be available through local EMS for emergencies. Race rules note no littering, required notification if a runner drops out, leashed animals only, and that race management decisions are final. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
