Lexus Corporate Run Fort Lauderdale : Event description
The Lexus Corporate Run in Fort Lauderdale is a corporate 5K road race at Esplanade Park on March 31, 2027. It is part of a three-race South Florida series held in the evenings during a 30-day span, produced by TeamFootWorks. The Series includes races in Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, and Downtown Miami.
The Corporate Run began in 1985 as part of the Manufacturers Hanover Corporate Challenge. The initial Miami event had 1,315 participants. Over time the Series grew substantially; Miami drew 28,265 participants and more than 850 companies in 2018, and the Series surpassed participation milestones of 10,000 in 1994, 20,000 in 1997, and 30,000 in 2013.
The event distance is 5K (3.1 miles). Teams must have a minimum of four members. Registration information lists a fee of $57 per team member plus a $5.21 processing fee. Companies compete across 18 industry categories with awards for overall male, female, and coed teams, category winners, T-shirt contest winners, and largest team.
