#LetHerRun Road Race
The #LetHerRun Road Race is scheduled for May 10, 2026 at Surf Club Park, Madison Beach and Rec, 87 Surf Club Road, Madison, CT 06443. The inaugural running is presented by The Boulanger Foundation, hosted by CT WaveRunners, powered by Marathon Sports, and benefits The Connection and CT WaveRunners.
The event includes the following distances:
- 5-mile road race
- Kids Fun Run, approximately 1/4 mile for ages 12 and under, parents may run with children
The #LetHerRun initiative raises awareness about challenges women face while running and supports programs that promote women’s safety through education, advocacy, and community-building. The course provides views of Long Island Sound.
Registration amenities listed for the event include an ASICS unisex long sleeve tech shirt, a branded wine glass, complimentary mimosas, and the Kids Fun Run. Custom bib requests have a deadline of April 17, 2026. T-shirt requests have a deadline of April 25, 2026; shirts requested after that date are subject to available inventory.
Awards are offered to top overall finishers and age group winners. Top three overall men, women, and non-binary finishers receive Marathon Sports gift cards in denominations of $100, $75, and $50.
